Earth Day at Balboa Park

Today I went to one of my most favorite places ever! Balboa Park. It was the first time I had been to Earth Day in San Diego, and it was interesting to say the least. There was a variety of different organizations advocating their issues. It wasn't the type of Earth Day I had imagined, because alot of these organizations were openly expressing their views on controversial issues such as abortion, war, education, and politics. Others were not so bad. However, it was an amazingly gorgeous day out. There was a slight breeze, and the setting of Balboa Park is just plain beautiful! I love the Spanish Baroque architecture at this park. I also love the nature and the art museums. My favorite museum there is the San Diego Museum of Art.  The other museum I love is the Museum of Photographic Art, where I saw an Annie Liebovitz show which was unforgettable. There is always something going on for everyone here, and a great place to get inspired! If anyone travels to San Diego, Balboa Park is a must! There is so much to do and see, and best of all, its free! :)
